Associate - Supply Chain Packaging Design & Innovation
Job Details :
  • Define clear success parameters for all new designs and materials experience and cost wise.Work closely with the CE(Customer Experience) team in order to collate data around the performance of all new designs and materials.Work closely with the Packaging Procurement as well as Packaging operations team tomonitor performance of all existing SKUs and drive improvements where applicableRoles & Responsibilities:

    Constantly exploring new material and designs for specific packaging across different categories - apparel/personal care/home furnishings/toys etc.
    Conducting tests in collaboration with the FC, Last miles teams in order to understandmaterial performance and design improvements.
    Explore alternate materials in relation to plastic without increasing existing baseline costs and driving various packaging materials towards non plastic alternates where applicable.
    Work closely with the Monetization/Creative/Process Monitoring/Operations team to roll out all new product designs with minimal scale up curves.

    Constantly build a strong grounds up network of all the vendors operating in the alternate material space.
    Strong ability to identify alternate materials, their sourcing, scale up abilities as well as plan scale up for products which are approved for scale up.



Keyskills :

People KRAs:

This role will be a senior IC role. However he/she would have to work closely with the packaging ops as well as ground ops in order to ensure that the new materials and products which are introduced are also supported by better processes to provide the higher opportunity to succeed.


MIS KRAs: Track all new product requirements and designs along with the exact TATs and timelines applicable to effectively achieve all outcomes.

Qualification:-

Past experience in both packaging design as well as material evaluations and exploration for packaging
MBA/Graduate with relevant experience in packaging procurement/design.
Strong stakeholder management and navigation skills.
Good understanding of how to achieve cost efficiencies with new materials and design.
Demonstrated track record of driving experience or cost improvements using packagingdesign.
Strong Program management, Project execution capability.
